BASIC TERMS IN PHOTOGRAPHY
1. Flash: Adds extra light in dark scenes; helps freeze motion.
2. Shutter Speed: Controls how long light enters; fast freezes action, slow shows motion blur.
3. Aperture: Lens opening; wide = bright + blurry background, narrow = dark + clear background. (Controls Depth of Field — how much of the image is in focus.)
4. ISO: Sensor’s light sensitivity; low = clear, high = bright but grainy.
5. White Balance: Adjusts color tone so whites look natural under different lights.
6. Depth of Field: Area in focus in a photo; shallow = blurred background, deep = more in focus.
